A Song For Baby

If you've followed this blog for any time at all, you know I'm a music lover. I have a new song that plays loudly in my Explorer as I drive to and fro these days. I had to post it....you'll soon understand.

I absolutely love to sing in my car. Its the only place I can really belt it out...and boy, I truly belt out this song. In fact, just today as I was sitting at a stoplight waiting to enter Target, I caught some people in the car next to me laughing at me as I wailed at the top of my lungs. I sincerely do not blame them...I should have been embarrassed, but...I wasn't....

Michael Buble is one of my new faves. His new CD is to die for if you like the classics. He also has some amazing new songs....and, as you'll see in the video clip, he is simply adorable. ;)

This song is his new release. I heard it first on Oprah and immediately picked up the CD and downloaded it into my itunes. The title is "Haven't Met You Yet" - I'm posting the lyrics...you will want to read them....then, you simply must open the link, turn up your speakers and give it a listen. Clearly, it is written with a different "meeting" in mind, but, it is amazingly applicable to this season in my life, too.

This song just makes me happy - and, even with some sad news this week from our doc, I am singing, and believing and dreaming of our future. Whether our baby shows up through a miracle pregnancy or a miracle adoption, I'm so excited for the day we meet.
