We are still waiting for you. Your mommy and daddy are still working very hard to find the path that leads us to you. We have closed doors and opened others in hopes that you're waiting behind one of them. We know you are. This journey to find you has been full of surprises and peppered with uncertainties. It may sound funny to you....but, there have been many times during this journey when both your mom and dad have been very afraid.
There have been times when we have been afraid that we may not find you....or afraid that our dream would need to change (change is hard, sometimes)....or afraid that one more heartbreak would be the end....or even afraid that we wouldn't be able to open the right doors to find you.
We have learned an important life lesson - and, again, I turn to thank you. Thank you for teaching your mom and dad the importance of courage.
There are things in life - things that aren't easy - things that hurt - things that make us very afraid - but, yet, things that are worth every second of the fight. You have taught us that it takes courage to make real dreams come true. We have a quote that hangs in our home that we have come to embrace because of you. Someday we will hang it in your room....

Can you imagine how poignant and just plain sweet it would be to read a letter that our mom's wrote to us before we came into their lives. This is beautiful, and so special.
That day will come when not only will you and Patrick hold those little hands, but we will all hold that precious little miracle baby in our hearts...there will be a celebration like no other!!!!!! I love you!! Mom
